Near-term Targets Approved

We are committed to the Science Based Targets initiative and to reducing our carbon footprint

NNIT is working to set Science Based Targets to achieve net-zero by 2050

In August 2022, we committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), joining over 3,000 other businesses and institutions in reducing our CO2 emissions in line with climate science.

We have committed to setting both near- and long-term targets to reach net-zero value chain greenhouse gas emissions no later than 2050 and in line with the SBTi Net-Zero Standard. By net-zero the SBTi means a state in which our company has no impact on the climate resulting from our GHG emissions.

To set ambitious and realizable emissions reduction targets, we have been working on identifying and collecting data on the sources of our emissions throughout our value chain.

In November 2024, our near-term targets were approved
