Tools Developer (.NET & SharePoint)

You will be part of the Resource Management (RM) team, which supports VPs, sales, line managers, HR and employees. You’ll be ensuring the RM systems are up to date, performs data analysis and prepares reports used by management.

This particular position focuses on managing and creating Microsoft Excel reports we use thus must have advanced knowledge (i.e. scripting and macros). You will also become an expert in other RM tools such as configuration of SharePoint and Daptiv. In a 1-2 year time span the RA could move into doing resource allocation related tasks.

As a .NET and SharePoint developer, you will be working with a diverse range of disciplines, including architecture, systems analysis/design, user interface engineering, in collaboration with our colleagues in Denmark. You will receive knowledge transition and training for skills needed in this role.

Driven by your passion for technical matters, an eye for the detail and positive attitude you will provide valued support to other Resource Management Consultants and Line Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical analysis to customer/client requirements and technical design specifications.
  • Define development timelines and implementation plans
  • Deliver the solutions/product according to defined quality standards and agreed estimates.
  • Review code and product documentation.
  • Address and fix bugs in a timely manner.
  • Development and execution of test scripts.
  • Be proactive and pay attention to scalability, availability and code quality.
  • Implement new features as well as maintaining and improving the existing functionality as well as performance.
  • Follow coding standards.
  • Participate and contribute to team delivery.


Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor degree or higher with minimum 3 years software development work,.
  • Experience in designing and developing architecture component based applications, including defining system structures, drawing class diagrams and structuring solutions.
  • At least 3 years of working experience developing applications using ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, and SQL
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Technology Tools (Visual Studio, TFS, MSSQL)
  • Analytical, self-motivated, responsible, flexible and with positive work attitude
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
