.NET Developer for CORP IT

The Senior .NET Developer will be part of the Corporate IT team which supports applications and web sites of NNIT globally. You will be working with a diverse range of disciplines including system analysis/design, user interface gathering in collaboration with our colleagues in Denmark. You will receive knowledge transition and training for skills needed in this role.
This particular position focuses on development and configuration of NNIT’s Corporate related applications and tools primarily based on MS. Net/ ASP, SQL Server. You will also be doing support for the business users.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical analysis to customer/client requirements and technical design specifications.
  • Define development timelines and implementation plans.
  • Deliver the solution/product according to defined quality standards and agreed estimates.
  • Review code and product documentation.
  • Address and fix bugs in a timely manner.
  • Development and execution of test scripts.
  • Be proactive and pay attention to scalability, availability and code quality.
  • Implement new features as well as maintaining and improving existing functionality as well as performance.
  • Follow coding standards.
  • Participate and contribute to team delivery.
  • Act as Support/Incident Manager on all .Net applications
  • Act as Problem Manager on all .NET applications
  • Prepare deployment packages and documentation.

Offshoring:

  • In general actively seek the use of offshoring
  • Be fluent in English
  • Be a strong communicator
  • Can in a simple way describe complex setup to secure understanding both orally and in writing
  • Be prepared to work abroad in a shorter period of time

Skills Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor degree or higher with minimum 4 years software development work experience.
  • Experience in designing and developing architecture component based applications, including defining system structures, drawing class diagrams and structuring solutions.
  • At least 3 years of working experiencing developing applications using ASP .NET, CSS, HTML, SQL, C# and VB.Net
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Technology Tools (Visual Studio, TFS and MSSQL).
  • Analytical, self-motivate, responsible, flexible with a positive work attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.

The following areas of experience are a plus:

  • Experience in Scrum process.
  • Experience in Excel.
  • Experience in handling customer support
