.NET Developer for BAT

As a .NET Developer, you will be working with a diverse range of disciplines, including architecture, systems analysis/design, user interface engineering, in collaboration with our colleagues in Denmark. You will receive knowledge transition for several applications ranging from a simple guest registration system to a very complex government service portal.

Responsibilities:

  • The Developer's role is to solve complex development tasks and be able to create architecture for medium complexity solutions.
  • Provide critical analysis to customer/client requirements and technical design specifications.
  • Define development timelines and implementation plans
  • Deliver the solutions/product according to defined quality standards and agreed estimates.
  • Review code and product documentation.
  • Address and fix bugs in a timely manner.
  • Development of unit test scripts and execution of unit tests.
  • Be proactive and pay attention to scalability, availability and code quality.
  • Implement new features as well as maintaining and improving the existing functionality as well as performance.
  • Follow coding standards.
  • Participate and contribute to team delivery.
  • Provide Time estimates for development sprints and sepcifications.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor degree or higher with minimum 3 years software development work experience.
  • Experience in object-oriented programming and n-tier architecture component based applications.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Technologies:
    • C#.NET, MVC, WCF, Entity Framework 
    • MS SQL Server (Stored procedures, Views, Tables, Indices, etc.)
    • Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Experience in developing web applications using JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML, XML
  • Working knowledge on design patterns, SOLID design principles and Clean Code concepts.
  • Experience in LINQ and Lambda expressions.
  • Analytical, self-motivate, responsible, flexible with a positive work attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

  • Ability to mentor and motivate people.
  • Perform code reviews.
  • Experience in developing Secure Web Applications, Secure Token Services and Single Sign On Technology
  • Experience in Scrum methodology.
  • Experience in Angular and Knockout
  • Performance analysis – SQL Profiling, System Diagnostics
