Service Architect in NNIT

Meet Martin Havran

“I would say that NNIT is an adventurous, collaborative, and flexible company”, said Martin, Service Architect in NNIT. Martin started in NNIT in 2017 as a member of the Operational Team in NNIT, Czech Republic. Now, after four years, he is a Service Architect in Digital Workplace, working daily with XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop, and Microsoft Remote Desktop Services. Outside of work, Martin enjoys playing team sports such as football and hockey; recognizing that both in and out of office, a well-established team achieves more together. If he is not on the pitch, you will most likely find him in the kitchen preparing a healthy Mediterranean dinner with lots of vegetables – or another favorite: T-bone steaks.

What do you do in NNIT?
Hello, my name is Martin. I started in NNIT in 2017. I work as a Citrix Administrator and Consultant. Initially, I started as a member of the Operational Team. Then, I was promoted to the Citrix Consultancy position. I work with many different accounts and a wide range of tasks of applications and desktop virtualization.

Our team consist of more than 40 people, located in four different places. We work daily covering operational and project tasks based on seniority level.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
The technologies we use daily are based on Citrix and Microsoft desktop and application virtualization. Products like XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop, and Microsoft Remote Desktop Services are our daily businesses. That is what I like most, and that is what drives me.

How would you describe NNIT in three words?
I would say that NNIT is an adventurous, collaborative, and flexible company.

What makes someone fit for NNIT?
We are looking for team players instead of solitaires. We are looking for responsible, bright admins, who are driven by curiosity to learn new things, and who prefer solutions instead of workarounds.
