Business Consultant in Digital Adoption

Meet Amalie Granner Lund

What do you do in NNIT and how long have you worked here?

I have been in NNIT for a year and started as a graduate in Digital Business Consulting. Today I work as a Business Consultant in Digital Adoption, which is a competence hub where the focus is on the human aspect of IT implementation. Here we focus on Organizational Change Management and User Experience.

My daily work consists mostly of customer interactions and helping them with understanding their needs. In my work, I combine communication with change management, where I need to understand which needs the customer have and make sure that they understand the IT solutions both before and after implementation. Communicating the right things at the right time is crucial in my work.

How would you describe NNIT as a workplace?

I would describe NNIT as a diverse workplace. We have many different profiles and experts in different areas. What I like about this is that you can learn from each other, inspire each other, and there is always room to ask questions.

Working in a big IT company like NNIT, it is possible to build your network, which helps me when I am with customers. You know that, when you are sitting with a customer, there are people behind you that you can call if needed. We have a very open culture, which also makes it easier to ask questions, learn, and develop your knowledge.

What do you enjoy about working in NNIT?

I enjoy the possibility of growing my professional career in NNIT. Certifications, courses, and teamwork are all things that help me on the road to expanding my skills and career. Furthermore, you have the chance to influence the projects you work on. My interest is in design thinking and Organizational Change Management, and the possibility of working with these, expanding my knowledge, and experience is something I am very grateful for.

Any advice for anyone looking for a career in NNIT?

You should choose to work at NNIT if you want to join a diverse and inclusive workforce, where there are a lot of different profiles, where there is room to develop, and room to be yourself.

You should not fear the thought of not having an IT background or not knowing a lot about IT. In NNIT it is our differences that creates results and helps us make a mark in business and society. As long as you are curious and open to new ideas, experiences, and a diverse culture, there is a place for you in NNIT, no matter what background you come from.
