Think, rethink and reflect a lot
As lead architect at one of NNIT’s major enterprise customers, I analyze, challenge and translate their needs and requirements into usable key infrastructure solutions. Solutions that ultimately help them transform their business and achieve their goals.
I am surrounded by people who inspire and pique my curiosity – both customers and colleagues. Of course, I experience challenges in my job from time to time, but at NNIT there’s a strong company culture and a wish to develop and succeed as a team that overshadow the obstacles in a way I haven’t experienced before.
I have worked in the IT industry for many years now, in different roles such as a supporter, specialist, infrastructure architect, consultant, project manager and advisor. And I’m still constantly motivated by learning and exploring.
I’m simply curious by nature. And this curiosity needs constant nurturing for me to thrive at work.
Design Thinking – my latest inspiration
Among others, a recent Design Thinking workshop at NNIT truly energized me. Design Thinking is about being able to execute through a creative, practical and agile way to problem solving. To explore, research and last but not least to form new ideas and resolve challenges in a creative and fun way.
The workshop and team effort inspired me to new ideation methods and reminded me that NNIT, my colleagues and I are always eager to think in new ways and challenge how we work today. Or to put it in a slightly different way: You can actually teach an old dog (like myself) new tricks as long as you have an open mind.
Exciting times ahead with Blockchain and other next-generation technologies
I have been deeply involved in NNIT’s engagements within Blockchain technology which is another really interesting trend. Blockchain and Design Thinking are truly some of the most exciting areas I have ever worked with.
