The move from on-premise hosting to Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) has become an avalanche in the pharmaceutical industry. However, industry practices have not always adapted at the same pace. Misunderstandings over who is responsible for what are commonplace. This presentation will examine GxP compliance challenges encountered by pharmaceutical firms in deploying and managing SaaS applications. We will look at the risks associated with these issues and present pragmatic approaches for addressing each.
