Pharma Basics

​​​The Pharma Basics course collates and summarises the pharma value chain into an overview which will guide the participants through to a tangible understanding of the pharma industry. Following this course the participants will be able to understand the overall processes in a pharma company and the journey from molecule to final product sold on a global market.
The course will provide a solid introduction to the characteristics, conditions and specific challenges of the pharmaceutical industry. It will take participants through the fundamental steps of being in the drug-production business; from discovery of new molecules to patent expiry and beyond. It will discuss the interactions with the many external stakeholders; from health authorities and patients to insurance companies and politicians.

The Pharma Basics course is tailored for participants with no or limited knowledge of the pharma industry making it an ideal introduction for new employees in e.g. marketing, communication, production, safety, clinical, IT etc. Following this course, it is possible to expand further on this knowledge by attending these courses: 

The duration of the course is 4 hours, and it can take place at NNIT premises or at customer site.
