OCM for migration from Lotus Notes to Outlook

Challenge

When transitioning from Lotus Notes to Outlook, there are several challenges that can impact the users and your IT team.

During the migration period, a coexistence environment is necessary where both Lotus Notes and Microsoft Outlook are used.  This co-existence environment has limitations which results in challenges with meetings and the calendar in general.

Work-arounds may have to be implemented for users, e.g. when reoccuring meetings are not possible, the workflow regarding Notes’ databases will be different until databases are migrated.

Furthermore, figuring out how to work in Notes’ databases after migration to Outlook might prove challenging as well.
