Data Management and Digital Transformation

This course is designed for employees and managers with a basic understanding of data management, who would like to further expand this knowledge with possible future strategies and digital transformations. During this course we will walkthrough applied data management as used in the modern pharmaceutical industry.

We will review understandings of data management and master data management, as well as visit real life examples and perhaps some examples from participants. We will also dive into dataobjects, attributes, granularity and moving from documents to structured data. Furthermore, we will take a closer look at data governance best practises and controlled vocabularies, talking about how to work with controlled vocabularies and keeping things aligned, as well as data entry and mappings. Finally we will review two different data strategies, defensive vs. offensive data management.

After this course you will have a number of best practices and inputs to support digital transformation in your organizations future data management strategies.

The duration of the course is 1 day and can take place at NNIT premises or at customer site. Please let us know should there be a need to make this course more company specific and we can review this request together.
