At NNIT we believe that the composition of our staff should reflect that of society. We believe that diversity at all levels of the organisation creates an innovative environment and results in viable growth.
We shift our focus to particular areas where we make an extra effort. One of our focus areas is 'Women in IT' where women are the focal point of positive attention. At the end of 2005, 30% of NNIT’s employees were women – a proportion that we hope will increase.
Another focus area is employees with a different ethnic background. At NNIT, we have employees from many different countries with many different skills and broad professional experience.
In 2005 and 2006 NNIT takes part in a mentor network with the IT University of Copenhagen and Kvinfo, the Danish Centre for Information on Women and Gender. The common goal is to give students and ethnic minorities the chance to exchange thoughts and ideas with a number of NNIT employees.
