Taking laboratory processes to a new level
It is evident that there is a great need for improving efficiency in pharmaceutical laboratories.
The integration of Laboratory Information Management Systems into daily routines have been a dream for many people for many years, and today many programmes and automated systems can be integrated with Information Management Systems.
On this conference we took a closer look at the areas that deal with; the organisation/individual, knowledge sharing, the regulated industry, application aspects and IT infrastructure relating to the implementation of Information Management Systems in both Production and R&D departments.
We touched upon the following questions during the day:
- What is laboratory Information Management situation in Life Science companies? Does Information Management Systems represent small islands in a sea of paper?
- What are the advantages of integrated Information Management Systems?
- What are the different strategies for R&D laboratories, environmental laboratories and quality control laboratories concerning integration of Information Management Systems?
- How do you capture, store, share and archive electronic data to and from Information Management Systems in the regulated industry?
- How is work practices changed in relation to Information Management Systems?
- What are the influences an integrated information management system has on the IT infrastructure?
- How do you achieve successful knowledge management in an integrated Information Management Systems environment?
At the Conference you could meet speakers from the Life Science sector and NNIT, who all showed different views on how Information Management Systems can be integrated with quality, environmental and R&D laboratories today.
