The optimal IT solution demands that the solution’s interface answers the preferences and needs of its users. This is achieved when users are actively involved in the design process – from start to finish.
A website must be logical, manageable and well structured. A solution that is user-friendly from the outset saves time and money.
NNIT has experts in usability (HCI). They are responsible for the dialogue with users, and gather knowledge about preferences and needs via, among other activities, user testing. This knowledge is used to design IT systems that are both user-friendly and worthwhile.
Knowledge gathering
We gather knowledge about our users with the help of interviews, field studies and workshops. We use what we learn to prepare, for example, ideas and prototypes that users can test and evaluate.
When the product is ready to use, we go all the way – making sure via testing that the solution is a close match for users’ requirements and expectations. Now and then, subsequent adjustments are necessary. So we also offer interviews, field studies, evaluations, tests and workshops as inspiration for later versions.
