NNIT has been ISO-certified since 1997. Our quality management system is in accordance with the requirements in DS/EN ISO 9001:2000. The certification covers areas of consulting, development, technical management and service on IT systems.
NNIT is the first Danish IT supplier to live up to the Danish Standard’s security standard, DS484. In 2008 NNIT was certified according to the DS484:2005 and the ISO/IEC 27001:2005 standards on activities and processes which are necessary for internal information processing in NNIT.
Improved work processes
NNIT is certified at level 2 of Capability Maturity Model Integration® - CMMI. The model is a tool for evaluating the maturity of organisations working with the development of software and systems.
CMMI consists of a number of tools that make it possible to improve work processes at every step of software development. Each and every step is carefully examined and measured. This gives added stability, and a guarantee that we execute the processes as planned.
Mature company
NNIT is also certified at level 2 of the People Capability Maturity Model® - PCMM. This model is a structured methodology for improving a company’s organisational and employee processes.
Together, the two models ensure that NNIT can develop faster than if development were to take place in an ad hoc way. In other words, the models help towards achieving controlled successes with the development of ‘hard’ processes (such as development processes) and ‘soft’ processes (performance management and skills development). And that makes sure that we deliver on time, with the expected quality, and within budget.
