Karsten Fogh Ho-Lanng appointed CTO at NNIT

Karsten Fogh Ho-Lanng, Nordic Research Director of IDC, will be Chief Technology Officer of NNIT from 1 May – where he will be plotting the course of NNIT's future technology investments.

Karsten Fogh Ho-Lanng’s appointment is in line with NNIT's strategic work and international ambitions.

Per Kogut, CEO for NNIT, explains: “Karsten will be a very strong card for NNIT. He has in-depth knowledge of the industry and market – both nationally and internationally – and inspires great respect everywhere. This will be a valuable advantage when we are prioritising our strategic initiatives at NNIT and advising our customers on how the advanced use of IT can create long- and short-term commercial opportunities for their industries”.

Karsten Fogh Ho-Lanng says: “The market for IT services, where NNIT is one of the biggest players in Denmark, is facing some major upheavals that will require a focus on technology choices and other factors. Software-as-a-Service, for instance, will significantly influence the delivery models on the market, and the rapid growth in Business Process Outsourcing could alter the balance of power, ultimately reducing IT providers to the status of sub-providers. Playing an active role in this development at NNIT will be a major challenge, and I have gained a very positive impression of NNIT while working at IDC over the past years”.

As well as defining and prioritising NNIT's technology investments and innovation, as CTO Karsten Fogh Ho-Lanng will also actively advise NNIT's strategic customers. He will be part of NNIT's top management and will report to Per Kogut.

Karsten Fogh Ho-Lanng (born 1969) has a diploma degree in marketing management from Copenhagen Business School. His CV includes:
