The main focus of the meeting is Information Broadcasting and Web Reporting.

Information Broadcasting using BEx Broadcaster

In BW 3.5 the end-users can schedule the distribution of BW Queries and workbooks directly from BEx Analyzer (Excel) or the BEx Web Analyzer using the new BEx Broadcaster. The queries/workbooks can be broadcasted on fixed points in time or when certain events occur, e.g. when new data is loaded to an InfoCube. The reports can be broadcasted using different formats and using either e-mail or the Enterprise Portal 6.0. The BEx Broadcaster is integrated in the new standard web template and it is also possible to integrate into the company's own web templates using a new web item in the Web Application Designer.

On the Executive Meeting, the functionalities of the BEx Broadcaster are presented and how they can be used by the business/end-users.

Web Reporting

A number of improvements have been made to the Web Application Designer in BW 3.5 and the standard web template used when launching web reports from BEx Analyzer in Excel, has been completely redesigned. On the Executive Meeting, these improvements are presented and furthermore it is demonstrated how the Web Application Designer can be used for creating corporate web reports and a central access point for all the company's web reports.
